Traffic safety is a heavy and eternal topic. China ranks first in the world in the number of deaths due to traffic accidents each year, with more than 100,000 people?For example, on average, one person is killed every five minutes, one person is disabled every minute because of traffic accidents, and the economic losses caused by traffic accidents amount to tens of billions of dollars every year。Road traffic safety accidents are still the "number one killer" in various accident fields。An important reason for the tragedy is our lack of security knowledge and poor protection ability。Therefore, through safety education and improving self-protection ability, 80% of accidental injuries can be avoided。

Students, life is given to each person only once, please cherish life, obey the traffic regulations, and travel safely。To this end, we through this "traffic safety education" activity to improve our traffic safety awareness, enhance traffic safety legal awareness。Hereby, I would like to propose to all teachers and students:

First, we must seriously study traffic safety laws and regulations, abide by traffic rules, strengthen safety awareness, and establish traffic safety civilized public ethics。

Second, when we walk on the road from people to cars, please keep a clear mind at all times, do not play on the road, pay close attention to the driving of motor vehicles, to prevent traffic accidents。

When we cross the road, more humility and patience, not running red lights, walking crosswalks, can not be greedy for a moment of speed, across the road。

4. Students under the age of 12 are strictly prohibited from riding bicycles。From the perspective of student safety, the Education Commission has also made it clear that middle school students are not allowed to ride electric bicycles to and from school。Students who ride bicycles to and from school must meet the following cycling safety requirements:

1, the bicycle should ride on non-motor roads

When riding, be sure to take the non-motorized lane, there is no demarcation of non-motorized lane, to drive on the right side of the road。Bicycles do not have rearview mirrors, changing direction is flexible, if you change lanes at will or walk through the traffic, it is easy to have traffic accidents。

2. Reach out your hand when you turn

When riding on the road, we must pay attention to observe the road conditions, can not turn around casually。Be sure to turn at the intersection according to the signal light, turning to take three steps: the first step, slow down;Step two, look behind you and extend your hand.Step three, turn。Don't make sudden turns to avoid danger。

4. Focus on cycling

Riding to make phone calls, listening to music, etc., distracts the driver's attention, affects the observation and judgment of the road situation, fails to take timely avoidance measures in the event of an emergency, and is prone to traffic accidents。

5. Stay away from the inside area where the car turns

When large vehicles turn, there is a danger area of about 2 meters on the inside, be sure to stay away from this area。If you ride close to the body of a large car, then the vehicle is very easy to scrape the rider down when turning right, and its right rear wheel may also be crushed from the person, which is very dangerous。

After school, do not block the traffic at the school gate because of others, parents pick up students, to tell parents according to the school's parking requirements, stop in a row on the main road, parents do not get off, students take the initiative to find vehicles, to avoid all cars to pick up students at the school gate, causing congestion at the door。
